Scheduling crews without double booking

Double booking is rarely a calendar problem. It is a routine problem.

Keep one board. If the schedule lives in a whiteboard, a phone and a spreadsheet, one of them is always wrong.

Assign before the day starts. Unassigned work should be visible as unassigned, not implied.

Let the system flag conflicts. A warning when a crew is already committed catches what a human scanning a calendar does not.

Have a rule for emergencies. Decide in advance which work gets bumped and who tells the customer, so the decision is not improvised at 7am.

Close the day. Jobs left in an unclear status are tomorrow's confusion and next month's uninvoiced revenue.

Run this in one system

Estimates, jobs and invoices that stay connected.
